Resumen

En la actualidad, la equidad de género en los puestos de liderazgo sigue siendo un desafío en diversos sectores, incluida la ciencia y la salud. Aunque se han logrado avances en el acceso de las mujeres a la educación superior, su representación en los campos de Ciencia, Tecnología, Ingeniería, Matemáticas (STEM) continúa siendo limitada. A nivel mundial, menos del 30 % de los graduados en estas disciplinas son mujeres; en países como Perú, la proporción es similar, según datos del Banco Mundial (1). Esta baja participación no solo refleja desigualdades en el acceso, sino también en las oportunidades de desarrollo profesional dentro del ámbito académico y científico.
