Interoperability

The journal implements the OAI-PMH protocol (Open Archives Initiative – Protocol for Metadata Harvesting), which enables automated harvesting of its contents by other distribution and indexing systems.

The protocol is available at the following link: https://investigacionpediatrica.insnsb.gob.pe/index.php/iicqp/oai

In addition, the journal website and each published article include standardized Dublin Core metadata tags, which enhance visibility and interoperability with indexing platforms and bibliographic services.

Commitment to Responsible Research Assessment (DORA)

The journal adheres to the principles established by the San Francisco Declaration on Research Assessment (DORA).

As part of this commitment, the journal promotes responsible and equitable editorial practices, avoiding the exclusive use of journal-based metrics, such as the impact factor, and refraining from promoting or displaying unrecognized metrics or rankings of questionable origin when evaluating the quality of scientific articles. Instead, we encourage a comprehensive evaluation of manuscripts based on their scientific merit, methodological rigor, relevance to the pediatric community, and potential impact on clinical or surgical practice.

Our adherence to DORA reflects our commitment to transparency, continuous improvement of editorial evaluation processes, and the promotion of open, inclusive, and high-quality science.
